If I need more than one service, how should I book the appointment?
No problem at all! Our friendly staff is here to make it easy for you. Just let our receptionist know that you’d like to book multiple services, and they’ll be happy to accommodate all your needs. It’s super common for our guests to combine their spa and waxing services with their hair appointments, so don’t hesitate to ask—we want to help you feel fabulous all in one visit!

Do I need to make an appointment?
Walk-ins are always welcome, and we love spontaneous visits! However, to ensure you get your preferred time and service, we recommend making an appointment ahead of time. Just give us a call at one of our 5 locations, and we’ll be happy to reserve your spot. We can’t wait to pamper you!
How far in advance should I book my appointment?
To make sure you get the date and time that works best for you, we recommend booking your next appointment before you leave our salon. This way, you can secure your spot and keep that fabulous look going! Our team is here to help you with scheduling—just let us know!
Can I schedule standing appointments?
Absolutely! We’d love to help you set up standing appointments for your regular visits. Just let us know your preferred days and times, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your schedule. Consistency is key to fabulous hair and nails, and we’re here to make it happen!
What should I do if I’m running late?
We totally understand that things happen! If you find yourself running late, please give us a call as soon as you can. We’ll do our best to accommodate you, but depending on how late you are, we may need to adjust your service to ensure everyone gets the attention they deserve. Your time is important to us, and we want to make sure you have the best experience possible!
How early should I arrive for my spa appointment?
We recommend arriving 15 minutes early for your facial or massage appointment. This gives you time to change and soak in the relaxing spa atmosphere!
What are your guidelines for kids in the salon?
We love welcoming kids to our salon! To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone, we ask that children be supervised by an adult at all times. If your little one is getting a service, please arrive a bit early to help them get settled. We want to create a fun and relaxing environment for all our clients, big and small!

I am really interested in hair extensions. What is my first step?
That’s exciting! The first step is to schedule a complimentary consultation. This allows your stylist to discuss any questions or concerns you may have and determine the best options for you. Since all of our hair extensions are customized for each guest, we can’t provide price quotes over the phone, but we’ll make sure you have all the info you need during your consultation. We can’t wait to help you achieve your dream look!
How long will my highlights last?
Our highlights are typically done with permanent color, so they can last a while! However, they will start to grow out in about 5-8 weeks. To keep your look fresh and vibrant, we recommend touching up your highlights every 6 weeks. This way, you can keep that gorgeous glow going strong!
What if I want to donate my hair?
That’s wonderful! We love helping our clients donate their hair. If you’d like to donate to Locks of Love, just make sure your hair is long enough to cut a 10-inch ponytail and hasn’t been bleached (hair with color is fine, just no highlights). Once your hair is cut, place the ponytail in a Ziploc bag and send it in to Locks of Love. Please note that we don’t send the hair in from the salon, so it’s up to you to take that final step. Thank you for considering such a generous gift!
What color lines do you use?
We primarily use Goldwell, Schwarzkopf, and Redken Shades at our salons, ensuring you get top-quality results! We also offer ammonia-free and natural color options upon request, so just let us know ahead of time if you prefer those alternatives. We’re here to help you achieve your perfect look!
What product lines do you carry?
We offer a fantastic range of product lines to meet all your hair and skincare needs! Our selections include Kérastase, Oribe, Shu Uemura, Moroccanoil, Kevin Murphy, Aveda, Color Wow, Bumble and bumble, Brazilian Blowout, Pure Brazilian, SkinCeuticals, and Eminence. Please note that specific lines may vary by store location, so feel free to ask about the products available at your nearest salon!
How do I know what conditioning treatment I will need?
Great question! Our talented stylists are trained to customize your conditioning treatment based on your hair’s unique needs. We offer top-of-the-line salon products and treatments from Kérastase to help maintain the health and integrity of your hair. If your stylist hasn’t already suggested a treatment, don’t hesitate to ask—they’ll be more than happy to recommend the perfect option for you. These treatments will leave your hair feeling absolutely incredible!
How should I prepare for my waxing appointment?
To prepare for your waxing appointment, please avoid using retinol, tretinoin, or any other acne medications for 5-7 days prior. This helps minimize irritation and ensures the best results!
How long should the hair be on my body before a wax?
The ideal length for hair is about 1/4 of an inch—about the size of a grain of rice. This length is perfect because it allows the wax to grip effectively without being too long and painful. You’ll be smooth and ready to go in no time!
How should I prepare for my facial?
To get the most out of your facial treatment at Tricho, we recommend arriving in your most natural state—so skip the makeup and other products. It’s also a good idea to avoid excessive sun exposure and harsh treatments on your face for about a week leading up to your appointment. We want your skin to be in the best condition possible!
How often should I get facials?
For optimum nourishment of your skin, we recommend scheduling a facial every 4-6 weeks. This regularity helps keep your skin glowing and healthy! If you’re looking to address specific issues, like blemishes, your esthetician will be happy to assist you in choosing a personalized regimen that works best for your skin type and concerns.
Payment and Policies
What forms of payment do you accept?
We keep it easy! We accept cash, all major credit/debit cards, Tricho gift cards, and contactless payments. Your convenience matters to us!
Can I leave a tip on my credit card?
We appreciate your generosity! However, at our salons, tips cannot be added to credit card or gift card payments. We kindly ask that tips be given in cash to ensure your stylist receives it directly. Thank you for understanding and for supporting our amazing team!
Do you sell gift cards?
Yes, we do! Gift cards can be purchased at the front desk and are available for use at any of our locations. They make the perfect gift for anyone who loves to be pampered! Treat your friends and family to a little self-care!
Are deposits required?
For certain services and stylists, a deposit may be required to secure your appointment. This helps us ensure that we can provide you with the best experience possible! If a deposit is needed, we’ll let you know when you book your appointment.
What is your cancellation policy?
We totally understand that life can be unpredictable! We ask that you cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Please note that some services and stylists may require a deposit, which is non-refundable if canceled in less than 24 hours. If you have any questions about your appointment, feel free to reach out—we’re here to help!
What is your refund policy?
Refunds/exchanges are not offered on services or retail items. If you’re not completely happy with your service, we ask that you reach out to us within 7 days. Our stylists will then address your concerns and make any necessary adjustments. We want you to leave feeling fabulous, so don’t hesitate to get in touch—we’re here for you!
What should I do to protect my clothes during my appointment?
We want you to leave looking fabulous, so we recommend you wear a robe or smock that we provide.
Should I bring my valuables to the salon?
For your peace of mind, we recommend leaving your valuables at home. While we take great care of our clients and their belongings, we cannot be responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items. Focus on relaxing and enjoying your time with us!
